Details view without thumbnails? But still have them everywh

I suppose this is both a question and a suggestion.
I would like to have the regular old look of the Details view without the thumbnails. But I would still like to have the thumbs in just about every other place that isnt set to Details. I know about "Always show icons, never thumbnails" in Folder Options but that seems to be an either/or setting. I really dont see the value in 16x16 thumbs. Especially when it takes alot longer to open a directory with alot of pictures, not to mention avi's. They take even longer.
Is there a way around this? Also does anyone actually find the 16x16 thumbs to be usefull? Just curious. --

So why is there an option for a suggestion? Anyway, Ive lost my ffedback icon on my desktop. I figure it was just a shortcut and tried to find it on the system. Can anyone tell me where it is? Or maybe just post the address that it points to? --

You recreate it. Make a new icon and point it to %SystemRoot%\system32\mshta.exe %SystemRoot%\system32\feedback.hta You will not have the blue icon, but that doesn't matter.
Or, for just a suggestion, http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvista/sentiments/default.mspx
If you just want the bug reporter, get it from http://windowsbeta.microsoft.com/vista/bugs.aspx?&build=0&sku=0
